Nowadays gonorrhea in Russia is still an important health problem. According to WHO data in spite of a slight decrease of incidence rate the morbidity of gonorrhea remains high. In this situation the development and introduction of new effective, cheap and reliable laboratory assays is permanently required.
All isolates were studied by MALDI Biotyper system which allows to perform rapid microorganism identification based on mass spectrometry (MS) profiles. |
