Abstract

A peptide marker panel for HER2+ breast cancer was discovered and validated by MALDI tissue imaging. For the subsequent top-down protein identification. ETD/PTR on an ion trap was applied. CRIP1, a new cytosolic protein marker for HER2+ breast cancer tissue was identified. The study proves the benefits of the workflow for proteomics.
