The EASY-nLC II

Designed from the ground up to be easy and intuitive to operate. The modular and simplified setup is fully integrated and preconfigured for out of the box operation -first analytical data is easily available 4 hours after power-up. The cooled autosampler delivers extremely reproducible injections.

The system is easily controlled by the intuitive and familiar Bruker Compass™ HyStar™ software from method definition to data acquisition. Standard HPLC operations, such as solvent purging, air removal and column flushing are performed automatically.

Split free liquid flow system

Precise direct drive nanolitre pumps allow very exact split free binary gradient mixing. Advanced Flow Control (AFCTM™) ensures accuracy and reproducibility with two nanoflow sensors - one for each mobile phase - and also allows individual and automatic calibration of the two solvents.

EASY-2D: Outstanding 2D separation capability

EASY-nLC II in 2D configuration is taking advantage of biphasic columns featuring very efficient elution of each fraction to analytical column.

3 steps to 2D-LC on an EASY-nLC II

  1. Mount a biphasic pre-column (SCX/RP) instead of the normal pre-column
  2. Prepare a concentration series of salt solutions and place these SCX elution buffers in the autosampler vial plate
  3. Set up a sequence in Compass to inject the sample first,   followed by each of the salt solutions and execute the sequence.

EASY-2D: Sample complexity is efficiently reduced without sensitivity loss.
