PolyTools Features

PolyTools uses already processed data from Bruker Daltonics software packages such as flexAnalysis or dataAnalysis.

Calculations are based on signal areas including all isotopes. New stick spectra calculated from the observed monomer unit and end groups are displayed together with the experimental spectrum and peaklist for comparison.

In spectra containing more than one oligomer ion series, PolyTools calculates the area percentage of each series related to the sum of areas found in the whole spectrum.

By processing MS/MS spectra, it is possible to evaluate fragmentation patterns of the polymer or determine single end groups of the investigated polymer. For di-block copolymers it is possible to calculate block length.
