Detection of CWAs and Toxic Industrial Chemicals by Ion Mobility Spectrometry

The detection of gaseous compounds in the ppm and ppb range normally takes considerable time for sample  enrichment and preparation. This time  consuming sampling and sample phase can also cause errors of  magnitude.

After 10 years of intensive research  and development Bruker have succeeded  in solving this  problem. We have developed easy-to-operate, extremely reliable,  robust and low-maintenance ion mobility spectrometers. A range of instruments available for stationary use in critical infrastructure, mobile applications in  vehicles, on board ships or aircraft and hand-held devices for first responders and screening of personnel. This family of Bruker detectors are known as RAID - Rapid Alarm and   Identification Device and provide fast accurate detection.
