Abstract
 

This application note describes the quantitative analysis
of n- and iso-saturates, n- and iso-olefins, and aromatics
in spark-ignition engine fuels by multi-dimensional gas
chromatography using the Bruker PIONA+™ Analyzer.
Through the use of this system, hydrocarbon types
(paraffins, iso-paraffins, olefins, iso-olefins, naphthenes
and aromatics) are analyzed and reported, based on carbon
number or as a total.
