Offline-coupling of liquid chromatography (LC) and MALDI-mass spectrometry (LC-MALDI) is a powerful new approach to analysing complex protein samples. The successful analysis of the pull-down complex with Npr1p (nitrogen protease reactivator) protein kinase from Saccharomyces cerevisiae illustrates the strenght of this technology for the gain in dynamic range of precursor ion selection and MS/MS spectra acquisition. |
