The MALDI Biotyper allows fast and reliable identification and classification of microorganisms, such as bacteria, archaea, yeasts or fungi. Following a fast and simple sample preparation protocol software, MALDI Biotyper automates sample processing and data acquisition by MALDI mass spectrometry (MS). A wizard guides you through the easy-to-use software and addresses the non MS-expert user.

The MALDI Biotyper software reliably identifies microorganisms by the species-specific signal patterns obtained by mass spectrometry and contained in their respective molecular profiles.

A unique and continuously enlarged database containing thousands of reference entries enables secure identification of your current sample with respect to the references using sophisticated pattern matching algorithms.

It takes only minutes to generate a report. With only five mouse clicks the system delivers  a clear report print out and options for a more detailed analysis like sub-typing, principal component analysis, dendrogram generation or creation of your own reference files.
