Abstract

For the first time ever the full potential of Edmass has been brought to the autoflex platform. Edmass summarizes the Top-Down protein sequencing (TDS) capabilities of Bruker’s MALDI-TOF/TOF instrument platform. A number of technical improvement milestones ensure that the autoflex speed can live up to the full expectations that TDS stands for: semi-automatic protein sequencing and automatic sequence validation work including T³-Sequencing to read out N- and C-terminal sequences to terminal residue 1.
